His Excellency Mr. Ali Bin Saad Al-Kharji – Ambassador of the State of Qatar in The Republic of Malta – inaugurated the new official headquarters of The Embassy of The State of Qatar in Valletta- The Republic of Malta, on Thursday 27th April, 2017, in the presence of His Honourable Dr. George William Vella – Minister for Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Malta . 

During the inauguration ceremony, His Excellency the Ambassador  Mr. Ali Bin Saad Al-Kharji delivered a commemorative speech where he addressed a special thanks to His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani
“May God bless him” and His Highness the Emir Father
Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Bin Jassim  “May God bless him”,  for their trust given to his goodself  to represent the State of Qatar in The Republic of Malta, and for their support and guidance to further strengthen the Diplomatic relations that exist between the two countries .

Then, H.E Ali Bin Saad Al-Kharji has renewed his gratitude to H.Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs of The Republic of Malta, and the Maltese government, and the Officials of The Malta Chamber of Commerce for their cooperation.

From his side, H.Hon. George William Vella praised the choice of the building and the good location. Also, he highlighted the interest of  his country to more develop the bilateral relations between the two countries and with the gulf countries. Also, he reiterated the importance to build a good communication based on “people-to-people communication” between the two countries peoples.

The inauguration ceremony gathered a number of Head of Diplomatic Missions accredited to Malta, high level Maltese government officials, and a number of    businessmen.
