Valletta - Malta

H.E. Rashid Bin Abdulla Al Dehaimi, Ambassador of The State of Qatar to Malta attended, on Wednesday 15th January 2025, the New Year´s greetings exchange ceremony hosted by H.E. Dr. Myriam Spiteri Debono, The President of The Republic of Malta at the Grand Master´s Palace in Valletta. During the traditional exchange greetings on the occasion of the new year with the Diplomatic Corps, H.Hon. Dr. Ian Borg, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism, was also in attendance along with Heads of Diplomatic missions accredited to Malta. The gathering was followed by a similar exchange of greetings with The Prime Minister H.Hon. Dr. Robert Abela. at the Prime Minister office in Valletta - Auberge De Castille.

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Thursday with HE Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of the Republic of Malta Dr. Ian Borg, who is visiting the country.

The Embassy of The State Qatar in Valletta commemorated the event with an evening reception attended by H.E. Myriam Spiteri Debono- The President of The Republic of Malta, H.Hon. Dr. Owen Bonnici- Minister For The National Heritage, The Arts and Local Government of Malta, with the presence of members of diplomatic corps and esteemed guests and dignitaries sacross the Republic of Malta.

H.H. Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation and Education above All Foundation met, on wednesday 30th October, with H.E. Dr. Lydia Abela wife of the Prime Minister of Malta, on the sidelines of the 30th Anniversary of the year of The Family Conference at the Qatar National Convention CEnter (QNCC).

H.E. Dr. Khalid Bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti- General Manager of Katara Cultural Village, has received a courtesy call by Dr. Lidya Abela, wife of H.Hon. The Prime Minister of Malta and the accompanied delegation.
