On Monday 10 December 2018, the Embassy of
the State of Qatar in Malta hosted a reception on the occasion of the National
commemoration of Qatar's unification which is a symbol of reverence for the
late founder Sheikh/ Jassim Bin Mohammed Al-Thani who led the country to unity
in December 18th, 1878.
The reception was attended by Her Excellency
Marie Louise Coleiro Preca - President of The Republic of Malta, Hon. Edward Sicluna
- Minister of Finance, together with representatives of the Maltese Government
institutions and senior political and military leaders, dignitaries, as well as
the heads of Arab and foreign Diplomatic Missions accredited to the Republic of
Malta.
