Inaugural flight of Qatar Airways to Malta 04 June 2019 Qatar Airways operated it's inaugural flight from Doha to Malta on Tuesday 4thJune 2019 Malta, with its aircraft receiving a traditional water cannon salute. Mr. Abdulla Khalid Al-Derham- Charge D'affairs has welcomed the inaugural flight together with Hon. Konard Mizzi - Minister for Tourism of The Republic of Malta, Mr. Sylvain Bosc – Qatar Airways vice president for the European branch, and H.E .Joseph Theuma – Non-Resident Ambassador of The Republic of Malta to The State of Qatar. The flight from Doha marked the launch of a daily operation for summer, and four times weekly to Malta in the winter.
