After a long journey punctuated by weather challenges, The traditional Qatari Dhow Fath Al Khair has arrived to a very warm welcome at Sliema Harbor, Malta’s most popular and touristic city.

The Dhow carrying its captain Mohammed Bin Yousef Al-Sada along with 15 sailors was received at a ceremony organised by Mr. Khalid Ali Abdulla Abel – Charge D'affairs at The Embassy of The State of Qatar - which was attended by H.E. Dr. Khalid Bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti– General Manager of Cultural Village Foundation "Katara", Mr. Abdulla Khalid Al-Derham – Consul at The Embassy, Hon. Prof. Edward Scicluna – Minister for Finance of The Republic of Malta, Dr. Clifton Grima– Parliamentary Secretary for sports. Youth and Voluntary Organizations. and Mr. Anthony Chircop – Mayor of Sliema. and various Maltese dignitaries and ambassadors.
